Raoul Järvis joins Autobahn as CTO to support its next stage of growth

Autobahn.tech, the international software company behind the Vehicle Sales Platform (VSP), has appointed Raoul Järvis as its first Chief Technology Officer. The newly created role strengthens the company’s executive team as it expands across Europe and attracts interest from larger enterprise customers.

Järvis will lead Autobahn’s development team and take responsibility for the platform’s technical direction, with a focus on reliability, scalability and new capabilities. His work will also cover the development practices and processes needed to support a growing business and make delivery more predictable as customer requirements become more complex.

For Järvis, the opportunity to join an established company with professional management and ambitious growth plans was a key part of the appeal. He also points to the strength of Autobahn’s team and investor backing as reasons for taking on the role.

Autobahn.tech’s team, strong investor base and ambitious growth plans are a strong motivation to take on this new challenge. As the platform grows, it is important to ensure that the company’s technology and development capabilities can support expansion to larger business customers and new markets,” says Järvis.

Autobahn’s growth is bringing more demanding requirements for integrations, security and the volumes the platform needs to handle. Larger potential customers also bring more complex workflows and higher expectations for planning and delivery. For the importers and dealers using Autobahn, the practical priority is continuity: adding capabilities and connecting more systems while keeping daily sales work running reliably.

According to Stig Terje Henriksen, CEO of Autobahn Technologies, the appointment comes at a stage when international growth makes strategic technology leadership increasingly important.

“The company’s growth places additional demands on the platform in terms of integration, security and reliability,” says Henriksen. He points to Järvis’s experience in leading technology teams and translating complex business needs into technical solutions as a strong foundation for the role.

Järvis brings nearly 30 years of experience in technology leadership and software development. Most recently, as CTO at PARiM Workforce Software, he developed the company’s technology vision to support faster software development, ambitious product growth plans and the requirements of enterprise customers.

Previously, as IT Director at Eesti Loto, he was responsible for technology supporting its online shop and nationwide sales network. Through systems development and improvements to operating processes, he helped bring service availability to 99.99%. His career also includes serving as Chief IT and Digitalisation Officer at Operail, leading e-commerce at Olympic Entertainment Group and founding or contributing to several startups.

About Autobahn Technologies

Founded in 2012, Autobahn Technologies is an international software company providing digital solutions for the automotive industry. Its shareholders include Estonian entrepreneurs Väino Kaldoja, Kristjan-Thor Vähi and Juss Lemba, German company e&Co. AG and other international shareholders.
