Autobahn.tech reports strong year-on-year growth in platform activity
In the first six months of 2026, the number of vehicles sold through the Autobahn.tech platform increased by 75% compared with the same period last year, while new customer enquiries nearly tripled.
According to Richard Eesmaa, Head of Business Development for the Nordics and Baltics at Autobahn.tech, three main factors are driving the rapid increase in activity: new brands have joined the platform, the range of services and functionality has expanded and new car sales have grown over the past year in several markets where the company operates. "Estonia has also contributed to this growth. Compared with last year, when sales volumes were at a record low following the introduction of the motor vehicle tax, the new car market has grown by around 60% this year," Eesmaa explained. He added that the average price of vehicles sold through the platform is also slightly higher than a year ago.
The number of new customer enquiries processed through the Autobahn.tech platform has recorded particularly strong growth, nearly tripling year on year. "In addition to the new brands joining the platform, another important factor is that several existing users have now consolidated their customer enquiries within Autobahn.tech. This is clear confirmation of the platform's ease of use and reliability," said Eesmaa.
Eesmaa said the company expects its rapid growth to continue in both its existing markets and the new markets in the Czech Republic and the Adriatic region into which Autobahn.tech has expanded this year.
Today, the Autobahn.tech platform is used by nearly 400 dealerships in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Finland. More than 120,000 vehicle sales transactions have been completed through the platform, with a total value exceeding EUR 2 billion. This year, Autobahn.tech also entered the Adriatic region, expanding into Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania.
Founded in 2012, Autobahn.tech is backed by Estonian entrepreneurs Väino Kaldoja, Kristjan-Thor Vähi and Juss Lemba, German company e&Co. AG and other international shareholders.
