About Autobahn
Autobahn builds the software that car importers and dealers run their business on. The platform covers the full vehicle lifecycle, from factory orders and logistics integrations to catalogue, stock, offers, sales and settlement, and has supported vehicle sales worth roughly €2.4bn. We work with importers and dealers across a growing list of OEM brands, including Mercedes, Peugeot, Opel, BAIC, KGM, Subaru and Honda. We are active mostly across Europe, winning new clients steadily, and starting to look further afield, including Latin America.
The platform is multi-brand, multi-market, multi-currency and multi-language by design. The same product has to work correctly for very different importers and dealers at the same time. That is what makes the work interesting, and occasionally hard.
The product you’ll own
Aftersales is one of Autobahn’s newest and fastest-growing areas, and the one with the clearest mission: to grow into a full management system (a DMS) for both importers and dealers. The goal is to bring everything to do with spare parts, service and warranty into Autobahn, instead of separate tools and spreadsheets. The main areas you’d own:
• Parts, pricing and inventory: a multi-vendor catalogue with layered, rule-based pricing, dealer-to-importer price requests and pricelist imports.
• Ordering and fulfilment: the chain from a dealer order through importer review, vendor ordering, goods receipt, stock delivery and invoicing. The operational heart of the module.
• Invoicing and accounting: purchase and sales invoice lifecycles, integrated with local accounting and e-invoicing systems in each market.
• Service and warranty: service events that feed a full warranty-claim lifecycle (raise, submit, verify, settle), with manufacturer-specific rules and reimbursement back to dealers. A flagship, high-stakes area.
• Reporting and forecasting: stock, rotation and demand reporting that guides what to order next, increasingly supported by AI.
The product is live and in active development, rolling out brand by brand and market by market. It is built hand in hand with our launch customer, so shaping the roadmap means working directly with them and other stakeholders. Under the hood it’s a modern stack (an Angular front end and Laravel services) with local integrations per market. You won’t write the code, but you’ll be far more effective if you can read a workflow or an API contract and reason about it.
The opportunity
Aftersales is built today by a blend of internal and external engineering. The teams ship well; what’s missing is a single owner who holds the product together: deciding what gets built and why, keeping the roadmap honest, and making sure features work end to end for real users.
That’s the role. You’ll be accountable for Aftersales as a whole, its strategy, roadmap, quality and adoption, with the mandate to shape it into Autobahn’s DMS. It is a high-ownership, high-visibility position.
What you’ll do
• Own the Aftersales vision and a prioritised roadmap, and make clear, defensible prioritisation calls.
• Work directly with our launch customer and other stakeholders to understand how the work is really done and decide what to build next.
• Write clear specifications and acceptance criteria the engineering teams can build from.
• Work day to day with the internal and external teams building Aftersales, keeping delivery flowing without becoming the bottleneck.
• Coordinate with integration partners where local systems and connections are involved.
• Sequence the brand-by-brand and market-by-market rollout, accounting for the rules, languages and integrations each one brings.
• Own end-to-end quality with the team’s tester so features work for real users in production, and drive adoption through onboarding and a tight feedback loop.
What we’re looking for
We care more about judgement and track record than a specific tool list. You’ll likely have:
• Product management experience. 5+ years, including owning a complex B2B SaaS product end to end.
• Experience in automotive retail, dealer management systems (DMS), parts or warranty.
• SaaS background. Affinity for operational or domain-heavy products (automotive, dealer/parts, ERP, logistics, invoicing) is a strong plus.
• Comfort with complexity. You can hold a multi-tenant, multi-brand product in your head and reason about workflows and edge cases.
• Technical literacy. You can read an API contract, follow a workflow through a system, and discuss feasibility with engineers without writing the code.
• Communication and a quality bar. Clear written specs, well-explained decisions, and not satisfied until a feature works for a real user.
• Stakeholder skill. You build trust with customers, colleagues and delivery partners, and keep them aligned.
• Language. Working English is required. The role is based in Estonia, so Estonian is a big plus; any other language is a bonus.
Bonus points
• Experience with ERP, accounting or e-invoicing integrations.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams that mix internal and external developers.
What success looks like in your first year
• There’s a clear, trusted path from today’s product toward a full DMS for importers and dealers.
• Aftersales is adopted by more importers and dealers, across more brands and markets, than when you started.
• End-to-end quality has visibly improved, with faster resolution alongside the engineering teams.
What we offer
• Full ownership of a strategic, fast-growing product with direct impact on the business.
• A modern platform and a pragmatic, low-bureaucracy engineering culture.
• Direct access to customers and to leadership. Your decisions ship.
• Competitive compensation, flexible hybrid working, and room to grow as the product grows.
